Arab Industrial Fibers Company “Ibn Rushd” a subsidiary of the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), founded in 1993 as a limited liability company, was transformed in December 1995 into a closed joint-stock company, The company is located in the industrial city of Yanbu, Ibn Rushd’s share of capital is 0.62%.

The Ibn Rushd complex consists of three complementary factories, some of which start with natural gas conversion:

1-Al Otaryat Factory:

– Ibn Rushd produces different kinds of aromatic or ring compounds that include two main substances, paracillin and benzene.

2-Pure tralic acid factory:

– Pure tricalic acid is produced at this stage by interacting paracillin and acetic acid.

3-Polyester Factory:

– Polyester ores are manufactured by the interaction of pure tricalic acid with ethylene Glycol to produce polyester grains for the manufacture of bottles and packaging.
