Mr. Yasser Al-Rasheed

He possesses over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of finance, investment, capital markets, banking, real estate finance, insurance, and real estate development. During his career, he has held a number of executive and leadership positions at prominent local and international entities, most notably the World Bank Group in Washington, D.C., the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), the Saudi Real Estate Refinance Company, the Ministry of Culture, and Soudah Development.
He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Soudah Development. He also holds memberships in a number of boards of directors in listed companies and the financial sector, including Malath Cooperative Insurance Company, the Saudi Advanced Industries Company, the Middle East Specialized Cables Company (MESC), Growth Pathway Finance Company, and Food Gate Company, in addition to the Equestrian Authority. Furthermore, he chairs a number of committees emanating from those boards, including Audit, Governance, Risk, and Investment Committees, and enjoys extensive experience in the fields of governance, risk management, and financial control.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree (specializing in Financial Management) from the University of Denver in the United States of America, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from King Saud University, in addition to a number of specialized professional certifications, most notably the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate, the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) certificate, and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) certificate.
